The is an exhausive research on Sun Yat-sen Parks globally. Since it is a historical reseach,  many deteriated photos requires
retouching, so as to show the content clearly. Meetings with the editor are held to ensure the information is organized in a proper
order for layout designs. Because it is a scholarly findings and time limit, the accuracy of the information is more important

than fancy layouts. Therefore, a simple layout inside is suggested and more effort will be invested in the cover and chapter pages.

"Leaf" is chosen as the main theme of the whole book to link up the concept of park. For the cover, While light green leaf represents

the "leisure space",  the golden iconic leaf and photos of parks embedded in leafs represent the human effort on nature - parks are

"man-made natural environment". For the chapter page, different kinds of leafs comes up different species of trees. Some species
can only be found in our country but some can only be found outside the country. To convey the meaning of Sun Yat-sen Parks

outside our country, foreign species of tree are used to become background image of the chapter page.
